New Series: Summer Shape-Up (8-week series) w/ Tammy Rose

Starts Tuesday, June 27th 6:00-7:00am.  Join ACE-Certified Personal Trainer, Tammy Rose, for a Summer Shape-Up Training Program. This 8-week series runs every Tuesday and Thursday, 6am-7am June 27th-August 24th (No Class July 4th & July 6th).

This is no ordinary fitness class! This program not only effectively builds every major muscle group in your body but Tammy also gives a detailed focus on those smaller muscles that help define, lift and sculpt those weaker, less toned areas – combined with moderate-high intensity cardio intervals to burn calories and boost your metabolism will put you in the best shape of your life! The magic of this kind of training is that it keeps your body burning fat even after you leave the class. In addition, Tammy offers online coaching for motivation, workouts outside class, as well as healthy dietary habits throughout the program. All levels are welcome!

$160 for the 8-week series or drop-in for $12 per class – cash or check payable to the instructor. Please note: Tammy will pro-rate the session for your vacation dates if you let her know before the session begins.

Please bring a clean, dry pair of sneakers, no outdoor shoes are allowed in the studio.

Kid’s Yoga Camp w/ Julie Pellerin-Herrera

Starts Monday, July 24th 10:30-11:45am.  Join Julie Pellerin-Herrera for Kid’s Yoga Camp.

Session 1: July 24, 25, 27 & 28
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday 10:30-11:45 am*
For girls & boys aged 6-10

Kids will have fun developing self-awareness, strength, balance, and flexibility. They will learn how to center their minds through focused breathing exercises and explore their imagination through fun games and visualizations. Kids’ Yoga provides children a safe and exciting way to physical health, emotional stability, and positive self-expression.

Pre-registration required by July 19th. Limited space available. $40 per session.

Learn to Hustle I (4-week series) w/ Ron Tritto

Starts Friday, July 14 7:00-8:00pm. Join Ron Tritto for a 4-week Learn to Hustle I series held every Friday, July 14-August 4th from 7:00-8:00pm.

Learn to Hustle I (Beginner Level) – Do the hustle! This class will introduce dancers to the beginner step patterns of the popular nightclub dance, The Hustle. Made famous during the Studio 54 “disco era”, but is still danced to today’s popular artists such as Rhianna, Lady GaGa, and Mariah Carey! No experience in this dance is necessary as we will start from the beginning. Both couples and singles are welcome to attend! Singles should bring a partner to attend class if possible. Free Class: Adult Hip Hop w/ Natalia Whalen

Thursday, June 8th, 7:45-8:45 pm: Join Natalia Whalen for a FREE Adult Hip Hop CLASS, Thursday, June 8th from 7:45-8:45pm.

This is the perfect opportunity to give Adult Hip Hop a try, for FREE! You’ll learn choreography, and dance styles ranging from voguing, old school popping and locking, and club styles that are seen in Soca and Dancehall! This hour class is meant to channel your inner “femme” while getting a great workout to today’s latest hits, old school hip hop and R&B! For ages 16 and up, all abilities welcome, no experience needed. Please bring clean, dry sneakers to change into (no outdoor shoes allowed in the studio) and wear clothes that are easy to move in.

New Class: Body & Soul Yoga w/ Bobbie Fachini

Yoga, from the Sanskrit word yuj, means to “yoke” and to “unite”. Like the strands of a braid, the study of yoga weaves together a vast array of physical, mental, and spiritual practices. Explore themes at the root of this age old tradition through physical asana poses, introspection, and pranayamic breathing techniques.

Find connection between the poses you practice on your mat, and the way you interact with the world outside of class. Reflect on the body you inhabit as one small piece of your cosmic self.

Get ready for a great all over body workout! This class incorporates cardio, strength training for arms and legs and focused abdominal work. Baby is in a front carrier for the cardio and strength training portion of class. Your baby can be incorporated into the abdominal and floor exercises.
