Join Susan every Friday morning from 10:30am – 11:30am for a special 4-week “Yoga for Beginners” series, offered Jan. 21st – Feb. 11th.

This class is ideal for those who are new to yoga, or anyone wanting to get back to basics.In a supportive environment, this class will introduce the fundamentals of yoga, including linking breath with movement, proper and safe alignment, and mindfulness practices. If you are looking for a basic understanding of poses, want a slower-paced class, or if you need to take a break from more vigorous styles of yoga – this class is for you!

Over the 4-week series you’ll learn:
~ Alignment and variations of basic standing postures
~ Elements of a Sun Salutation (a common yoga sequence)
~ Yoga breathwork (aka “pranayama”)

Each class will begin with breaking down postures and breathwork move into warm up and stretching and continue with a yoga sequence integrating what has been introduced thus far.
